Dr. Carmellini has practiced physical therapy exclusively in private practice orthopedics clinics since his entry-level degree from Andrews University.  He completed his Doctorate in Physical Therapy and Manual Therapy Certificate from the University of St. Augustine.  He is Board-Certified in Orthopedics from the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties.  He is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and the American Academy of Orthopedics Manual Physical Therapists. Dr. Carmellini has also presented at the American College of Sports Medicine National Conference.

Dr. Carmellini is a vocal advocate of science-based physical therapy, strong informed consent, detailed patient education, and elegant treatment plans.  Elegant treatment plans are efficient and require the least amount of steps to making you feel better.  What does this mean for the client?  It simply means better physical therapy visits, less co-pays, easy to follow home programs, and excellent patient outcomes.

In addition, Dr. Carmellini is an avid endurance athlete.  He previously taught mountain biking at Hunter Mountain Ski Bowl in Upstate New York.  He is a Category 3 cyclist for Rocky Mountain Road Club and specializes in criteriums and hard one-day road races.  In addition, he has backpacked much of the Appalachian in New England and has completed multi-day trips in Alaska, Colorado, Tennessee, North Carolina, Canada, and the Pacific Northwest.

Kirsten O'Donoghue

Kirsten brings over two decades of marketing, communications, and leadership experience to the Metropolitan Physical Therapy team. After spending six successful years driving our regional marketing and cultivating vital healthcare relationships as our Community Marketing Liaison, Kirsten transitioned into the role of Clinic Manager in the summer of 2025. Today, she oversees daily clinic operations, manages administrative continuity, and ensures our team delivers the highest standard of service to our patients and partners. 

Kirsten holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Communications from Metropolitan State University. When she isn’t keeping our clinic running smoothly, she loves cooking, traveling, exploring local Colorado trails, listening to great music, and spending quality downtime with her family, close friends, and her beloved dogs. 

Cynthia Hall

Cynthia HallMarketing Coordinator

Cynthia was born and raised in Longmont, Colorado. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Marketing in 2008 from the University of Northern Colorado and has extensive experience in marketing and events planning. Cynthia is very passionate about her creative line of work and enjoys the connections she makes with others. She enjoys reaching out to the community to create lasting relationships while organizing events and fundraisers.

Cynthia has three cats and one dog. She enjoys the beautiful Colorado outdoors and is often camping, hiking, ATV/dirt biking, fishing, or reading and spending time with her family.
