Dr. Carmellini has practiced physical therapy exclusively in private practice orthopedics clinics since his entry-level degree from Andrews University. He completed his Doctorate in Physical Therapy and Manual Therapy Certificate from the University of St. Augustine. He is Board-Certified in Orthopedics from the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. He is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and the American Academy of Orthopedics Manual Physical Therapists. Dr. Carmellini has also presented at the American College of Sports Medicine National Conference.
Dr. Carmellini is a vocal advocate of science-based physical therapy, strong informed consent, detailed patient education, and elegant treatment plans. Elegant treatment plans are efficient and require the least amount of steps to making you feel better. What does this mean for the client? It simply means better physical therapy visits, less co-pays, easy to follow home programs, and excellent patient outcomes.
In addition, Dr. Carmellini is an avid endurance athlete. He previously taught mountain biking at Hunter Mountain Ski Bowl in Upstate New York. He is a Category 3 cyclist for Rocky Mountain Road Club and specializes in criteriums and hard one-day road races. In addition, he has backpacked much of the Appalachian in New England and has completed multi-day trips in Alaska, Colorado, Tennessee, North Carolina, Canada, and the Pacific Northwest.
Lindsay Ramsey, DPT

Lindsay graduated from Central Washington University with degrees in Biology and Athletic Training. She then earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in Florida in 2010. Lindsay is originally from the Seattle area and has worked in Boston and Boulder prior to moving to Erie. She loves spending time and traveling with her husband Micah and English Bulldog puppy Russell. Go Hawks!
Her physical therapy treatment approach incorporates manual techniques including joint mobilizations, myofascial release, dry needling, manual strengthening and functional or sport specific training to achieve goals that are tailored to each individual. Lindsay also teaches a core and glute class that focuses on deep stabilization held at the Erie office on Wednesdays at 6:30AM.

A graduate of the University of Texas and Regis University Schools of Physical Therapy Dr. Phinney Has over 25 years of experience as a physical therapist. Dr. Phinney has extensive expertise in helping you recover from neuromuscular, spine, orthopedic and sports injuries and surgeries. Utilizing several different techniques Dr. Phinney will assist in restoring function and eliminating your pain. Techniques include: various types of soft tissue mobilization, joint mobilization/manipulation, breaking of scar tissue and fascial adhesions, trigger point dry needling, identifying and correcting habitually faulty movement patterns, progressive strength training patterns emphasizing appropriate neuromuscular recruitment and integration. Appropriate recovery and rehabilitation after surgery is just as important as the surgery itself. Should you find yourself undergoing surgery Dr. Phinney will work closely with your surgeon to optimize your path back to full function with return to activity. Prevention of injury is key to staying active and participating in the activities you enjoy. Whether your activity includes swinging a club or racquet, kicking or throwing a ball, running, pedaling a bike, paddling, swimming, jumping a horse, strapping on skis, etc., Dr. Phinney will work to identify structural, habitual and repetitive factors that can lead to activity ending injuries or surgeries and create a comprehensive plan to reduce the risk of injury and keep you moving pain free. Dr. Phinney has lived in Boulder County since 1996 and in addition to staying active with his soccer playing 11 year old son, has completed many Bolder Boulders, Boulder Backroads half marathon, Escape from Alcatraz Triathlon, American Birkebeiner, Ironman 70.3, Triple Bypass and many other less “active” endeavors including enjoying a home cooked meal on the back deck with friends. Ben is a Colorado native and grew up in Colorado Springs. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Human Rehabilitative Services at the University of Northern Colorado. He worked in the Mental Health field for many years before finding his way to office management, specifically in physical therapy.
Ben is passionate about helping people and making sure clients have a positive experience.
Ben is married, has a son, and two dogs. He enjoys home projects, working on cars and is a sports enthusiast. Ben loves the Colorado outdoors, including camping, fishing, and has recently been learning the game of Disc Golf.
Cynthia was born and raised in Longmont, Colorado. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Marketing in 2008 from the University of Northern Colorado and has extensive experience in marketing and events planning. Cynthia is very passionate about her creative line of work and enjoys the connections she makes with others. She enjoys reaching out to the community to create lasting relationships while organizing events and fundraisers.
Cynthia has three cats and one dog. She enjoys the beautiful Colorado outdoors and is often camping, hiking, ATV/dirt biking, fishing, or reading and spending time with her family.
