I backed into the science world from the arts world, and this isn’t your typical path to a medical career. I’ve been lucky enough to keep one foot in the music world while I continue to keep two feet in the physical therapy world. Personally, I don’t see much difference between playing polyrhythms and hearing all aspects of the band simultaneously and considering multiple diagnosis in the complex patient.
I currently play bass guitar for the Boulder-based band “Rachel & the Ruckus”. Please enjoy a track from our recent Denver Loft Sessions performance that was not released last month. “Could Be Tonight” is perhaps my favorite song to play live with these guys, as I get to play bass guitar with my hands and the organ with my feet.
